What can I say? Just what a fantastic night it was from beginning to end. Loved the new line-up and I loved Jason introducing everybody and got a huge lump in my throat when they all stood up and took a bow! Ian's singing is just amazing! Spot on! I went with my pal who had been to see Stiff Little Fingers the night before so I was interested to see what he thought of them as SLF and Floyd are just worlds apart! He was totally made up, especially as we were sat in front of those lovely girls! Loved the lighting, the new songs, just everything came together! The set-list was, I’m sure, the same as Dublin. I was totally mesmerised by this band! Though the crowd in Preston were a little subdued (I think they always are there!), at least there weren't many folk getting up and going to the bar so that was one good thing! Everybody who sees them from now on is in for a treat! WELL DONE AUSSIE FLOYD! ps I mentioned this web-site to a few people when I was there too ! pps I cried when they sang On The Turning Away |
