Yet another fantastic gig, tremendous atmosphere, same set as on the tour so far with 'Sheep' instead of 'Pigs' this time.
The only critisism was some annoying feedback in the first set, through Damian's mic I think, but this was fixed fairly quickly by the guys on the desk. Despite this, up there with the best of the Aussies gigs I have seen. Having two nights at the Corn Exchange showed on the attendance, there were still tickets available at the door. It was pretty full but nothing like the crush of last year, far more comfortable but enough people to create a great atmosphere, singing along to WYWH and make a hell of a noise shouting and stamping feet for the encore. There was the usual Bruces and Sheilas intros to much amusement, with Jason forgetting how many saying 'and finally we have three Sheilas with us tonight' when of course there are four. He did say 'great to be back in Cambridge again where it all started of course'. The show began at 7.30 ending at a reasonable 10.40 allowing for a quick beer before setting off home. Perfect!

Seven of us went last night, three had never seen the band and were totally blown away, all converts and on about it all the way home to Norwich, including a 17 year old girl who after seeing this promised to ditch her R&B collection! The other three have only seen them at Norwich UEA and were equally impressed and amazed at the size of the show, the lasers, Mr.Screen, the animations etc, as we do not have the full show in the UEA, the hall there is too small, even for the screen. 'Set the Controls' drew a lot of comments from my friends, saying how fantastic it was along with Ola and Amy doing 'The Great Gig'. Again no 'skippy' during OOTD, they are beginning to outgrow the corn exchange too!

Still buzzing...a terrific night out!
